LCP Roofing wins offroad

Besides LCP Roofing’s passion for designing, manufacturing and erecting roofs, some of our employees also enjoy off-road biking. A bit of healthy competition is always good in encouraging us all to go one step further and to better ourselves, both personally and professionally. This prompted a few of our LCP Roofing riders to put their skills to the test at the Parys 300 World of Motorsport ZA’S (WOMZA) series for off-road that took place on the 4th and 5th of November 2016.

The Parys 300 off-road series consisted of five different classes, of which we had employees participating in at least four categories as class leaders, which in itself speaks volumes about the calibre of the passionate motorcyclists on our team.

Congratulations to Andri Pretorius who took first place in the open regional class (OR1) and Henri Pretorius who secured top position in the 250CC open category (OR2).  Other results saw Lyndsay Cotton taking fifth position in the master bikes category and David Cotton placing second in the junior senior bike category. As the WOMZA series is now over, our riders will also compete in the upcoming GXCC series to test their skills against different riders, tracks and obstacles. This promises to be a good challenge for our competitive and talented LCP motorcyclists in their quest to attain the coveted first place on the podium.
